The FIA World Endurance Championship is a motorsport series for manufacturers and drivers at the top level of performance. Long considered one of the hardest tests for both humans and machinery, long races see drivers share cars in order to compete for up to 24 hours.
Le Mans is WEC’s most famous race and other prestigious challenges like the 1000 Miles of Sebring give the series a truly international calendar. The multi-class series sees drivers compete in three, simultaneous title fights, the track shared between high end prototypes and GT cars.
Olli will be competing in the Alpine Elf factory team, driving in the LMP2 class in the #35 Alpine A470. The team and car has previously won Le Mans and the world title in the LMP2 class, with expectations high for the A470’s return.
This year sees the historic 100th running of the Le Mans 24 Hours, which will be Olli’s fourth race of the season.
